A sanctuary. A place for you to work, play, meditate, eat, and relax. That’s what a home is for many of us. But there’s a problem with indoor air: it’s filthy.
Every day, we breathe in a cocktail of harmful gaseous pollutants—including formaldehyde, benzene, and nitric oxide. Volatile organic compounds aren't our only concern, either.
There's also an assortment of unpleasant odors (think: musty attics, smelly shoes, and pet urine) that assault our noses. Add excess humidity to the equation, and your comfort level takes a nosedive.
Carbon Creek, a proudly 100% Canadian-owned and operated business, was founded on the belief that everyone deserves fresh, clean air indoors. So, we set out to create an accessible air purifier.
One that didn’t run on batteries or electricity. One that didn’t rely on fragrance (read: synthetic chemicals) to cover up nasty odors. And perhaps more crucially: one that supports our fight against climate change.
After months of research, we found coconut shell activated charcoal—and the rest, as they say, is history.
